My favorite piece of clothing? Shoes just like the ones Wendy Davis wore, which I bought the day after the June 2013 filibuster in Texas. At the time no one was wearing brightly-colored shoes and it took me a little bit of time getting used to them. But for comfort and walking the dog 3 to 4 times a day – yes! I can’t take them off. The jeans – I have three pairs by Style & Co that I bought at the same time. I have had them for at least 15 years. When I feel the jeans getting a little tight I know I have to cut back on my eating — the jeans are my own scale and I haven’t gone up a size! Besides jeans go with t-shirts, sweaters and hoodies – my uniform!
