Hello, my name is Lucila and Iโm going to tell you the story of o ne of my favorite pieces of clothing:
I bought these trousers in a shop near my house where every Thursday they sold cheaper jeans and so I went every Thursday to look for an opportunity and I never found anything, but I insisted on going every Thursday.
On one of those days I went into the shop and it was my lucky day... I saw it and I fell in love with it.
I love it because it`s a basic and fashionable garment at the same time, when I don`t know what to wear and I want to feel good and stylish, I wear it.
It represents my style a lot because I love animal print and this one is not very daring, so that makes it a very versatile garment, you can wear it at night or day, in winter or summer.
They were the opportunity I was looking for for a long time and that`s why I love them and I keep them very well, I hope they never break.

J`ai achetรฉ ce pantalon dans un magasin prรจs de chez moi oรน, tous les jeudis, ils vendaient des jeans moins chers. J`y suis donc allรฉ tous les jeudis pour chercher une occasion et je n`ai jamais rien trouvรฉ, mais j`ai insistรฉ pour y aller tous les jeudis.
Un de ces jours, je suis entrรฉ dans le magasin et c`รฉtait mon jour de chance... Je l`ai vu et j`en suis tombรฉ amoureuse.
Je l`aime parce que c`est un vรชtement basique et stylรฉ en mรชme temps, quand je ne sais pas quoi porter et que je veux me sentir bien et avoir du style, je le porte.

the_stitch_bandit and I were chatting the other day about how many old makes we have that haven`t quite made it on to the grid.
We were both reflecting on how useful it can be to come back to old makes and think about what we learnt from them, whether it`s what we like in a piece of clothing, or figuring out a new to you technique.
Looking at old makes can be a great way to see how far you`ve come and get clear on where you want to go!
It`s also a nice reminder that sewing isn`t just a replacement for fast fashion, a lot of us sew to make good quality garments that last, and this should be celebrated too!
